Through these measures, firms will ensure that most of their transportation activities are carried out during off peak hours. The management and control of transportation activities in turn enables the firms to avoid wastage of time due to transportation congestion.Adjustment of Schedules:
As part of controlling and managing transportation activities, firms should adjust schedules as a means of eradicating associated challenges. The adjustment of schedules would involve changing the schedule of vehicles while considering the timing of congestion on a particular route. During this process, firms should ensure that they manage their timings and routes through effective schedule management.
Adopt New Transportation Technologies:
The other means of dealing with challenges related to transportation congestion is for firms to adopt and establish new transportation technologies. These firms should capitalize on the emergence of newly available technologies to eradicate the challenges. These technologies help in enhancing system management by providing more timely information for users and lessen the costs of toll collection. As a result, companies will deal with congestion challenges through establishing new transportation technologies.
Developing Upon a Set of Objectives:
Firms can also lessen these challenges by developing upon a series of objectives and recognized performance-based needs. This involves identifying, evaluating, and prior

In conclusion, challenges related to transportation congestion are caused by various factors and affect individuals, firms, and governments. These challenges continue to have significant effects on the operations of firms and economic growth. As a result, it's becoming increasingly important for various stakeholders to adopt effective measures for dealing with the problem. Firms can deal with these challenges by developing and adopting several strategies like congestion management, adjustment of schedules, adopting, new transportation technologies, and developing upon a set of objectives.
